BOXING NEW BRUNSWICK BOXE
Boxing NB Boxe is the officially recognized Provincial Sport Organization for Amateur Boxing by the Province of New Brunswick. Boxing NB Boxe as a member of the Boxing Canada enforces the rules and regulations established by this National Sport Organization.
Boxing NB Boxe was formed in 1966 and is governed by an Executive elected for a two year term by its Board of Directors represented by its 12 membership clubs throughout the province.
Boxing NB Boxe, through its member clubs provide an opportunity for individuals to participate at all levels of amateur boxing. Individual clubs develop their own programs with the guidance of Boxing NB Boxe and the National Coaching Certification Program. Programs include both competitive and non-contact fitness boxing. Boxing is popular with both male and female participants. The minimum age for membership to a boxing club is eleven years of age.
